I learned something today, I never want to be taught the Chinese way. You know how modern day punishment is detention. Ancient Chinese punishments was force to take a cold shower. I finished the boys education a week ago but couldn't find anything for the girls education in the library. SO I decided to finish it completely today. And that I did.

31/1/11-----11th lesson
YAY!!!! You wont believe what I accomplished today. Thanks to the website "http://ancienthistory.about.com/od/chinadynasties/g/0326096dynasties.htm", I filled out 2 whole blue cards on the six dynasties and it finally made sense to me. All of the six dynasties had a date of when they started and when they ended, IN ORDER. So I've answered the question, "what were the different dynasties?". Finally, I dont need to worry any more.

27/1/11------10th lesson
Finally saying goodbye to the library. That's right, today was the last lesson we spent in the library. But I have to admit i did get a lot of good information from the library, especially about the ancient Chinese religion and social classes. I focused about the social classes today. I basically added more information about the religious festivals and also the question "what was the difference between the rich and the poor?". And so far I can say that I am proud of were i am in the stage.

25/1/11------9th lesson
So....Nothing really different happened other than the last 8 lessons. I got the book, read the information, copied it down wrote the url and now Im writing my blog. The only different thing is that im sitting on a bean bag instead of a chair. Mr bonnalie told us that thursday is going to be the last lesson in the library and Im still trying to make up my mind if thats a good thing or a bad thing. All I know is that my dynasty problem is going to be solved by the internet. I was reading another book than the one i always look at today and noticed that there are a lot of funny chinese names. And that the chinese really respected their ancestors and basically made them apart of there religion and beliefs. 1 more lesson in the library and i can finally get work done.

24/1/11-----8th lesson
So we were back in the library today, and I decided to be a risk-taker, I decided to work on the dynasties. I opened up the same book Ive been using for the past week, looked up the dynasties and started reading away. Unfortunately, no progress made with the dynasties. Sure relying on the internet isnt a good thing, but what can you do when your stuck with the dynasties. I hope i have better luck next lesson.

20-1-11-----7th lesson
Today our teacher decided since it was a thursday and a non-uniform day that he wouldn't make us got to the library and instead we would continue research in the class. I think that todays lesson was the lesson a got the most done. I used about 7 blue notes.I decided to focus only about the ancient chinese education because that was the only category that I didnt have any information for. I fully completed about 2 questions thanks to "history for kids" website. I know it probably was for ages younger than me, but it did have information about china, and how can I argue with that.

18/1/11-----6th lesson
Guess what, we didnt go to the library today! We spent the lesson in the class room and used our laptops to research instead of books. Although Mr.Bonnallie told us that we would still be going to the library because he wanted most of our information from books. I looked at a 1 website that mostly had the information about ancient chinese religion. It was really long, but if you read carefully you would find small facts. Small maybe, but very useful.
